Faraz joined Centerfield in 2001. He is responsible for investor relations, overseeing due diligence, executing transactions, and portfolio management. Faraz also manages the general activities of the firm. Faraz is a member of the Partnership’s Investment Committee.
Faraz has 20+ years of experience in private equity. Prior to Centerfield, Faraz held sales and product development roles at Praxair and Rodel, where he was the lead researcher and developer of next generation consumables for the microelectronics industry and was awarded a patent. Faraz has been recognized as one of the “Forty under Forty” young leaders in Indianapolis, “Who’s Who in Finance” by the Indiana Business Journal and was the winner of Junior Achievement’s “Indy’s Best and Brightest” award.
In his spare time, Faraz enjoys traveling, laughing and hanging out with his wife and three kids. Faraz strives to engage in projects that help him grow as a person, and he is deeply rooted in community activities.

Michael joined Centerfield in 2007. He is responsible for investor relations, overseeing due diligence, executing transactions, and portfolio management. Michael also assists with managing general activities of the firm. Michael is a member of the Partnership’s Investment Committee.
Michael has 20+ years of experience in private equity and corporate finance. Prior to Centerfield, Michael spent eight years at Eli Lilly and Company in a variety of financial and business development roles. Most recently, Michael worked in Lilly’s Corporate Strategy and Business Development group where he was actively involved in the firm’s mergers and acquisitions efforts.
Michael holds an undergraduate degree in business administration from Hanover College and an MBA in general management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Indiana. Michael is actively involved in the community, including serving as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Economic Club of Indiana and on the Finance Committee of the Indiana Sports Corp Board of Directors.
Outside of the office, Michael and his wife, Kristin, can be found shuttling their three sons from one sport to the next. When not on the run, Michael can be found in a basketball gym, coaching his sons and providing well-intentioned, but not always welcomed, guidance to referees.

Mark has spent his entire career working with small to mid-sized companies and their owners as a lender, investor, advisor, and board director. Prior to Centerfield, Mark began his career at National City Corporation where he managed middle market corporate banking relationships, and gained experience in private banking and wealth management.
Mark is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and has served as President of ACG Indiana and on the ACG Global board of directors. Mark is active in the community and is a board member and Past President of the Indiana Chapter of JDRF.
A lifelong resident of the Hoosier State, Mark and his wife have three daughters and a dog named Scout. When not cheering on his girls as they participate in their many sports and activities, Mark enjoys exercise, golf, rooting for the Pacers and Colts, and a good sci-fi show. Mark is also working on his private pilot license which is taking longer than he likes to admit.

Jill joined Centerfield in 2007. She is responsible for sourcing, leading, and executing transactions and managing existing portfolio investments. Jill is a member of the Partnership’s Investment Committee.
Jill has more than 20 years of experience in private equity and business operations. Prior to Centerfield, Jill held various roles in manufacturing, process development, research, and operations in the medical device and energy industries. Jill was formerly a process engineer for ETEX Corporation, a medical device company in Cambridge, Massachusetts, now part of Zimmer. Jill previously worked as a business analyst at the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO) in Carmel, Indiana, and in operations at the MIT Nuclear Reactor. Jill has been recognized as one of the “Forty under Forty” young leaders in Indianapolis.
Jill and her husband, Mike, have two sons and a daughter. Their entire family enjoys beach volleyball, golf, and snowboarding, so most of their vacations involve a beach, a mountain, or a fairway.

Tyler joined Centerfield in 2021. He is responsible for accounting, audit, tax, treasury, portfolio valuation, and financial reporting activities of the firm, and serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. Tyler also assists with investment monitoring and investor relations.
Tyler has spent his entire career in financial services. Prior to Centerfield, Tyler served as Vice President of Finance at NXT Capital in Chicago, a middle-market direct lender and asset manager. His responsibilities included financial reporting and FP&A functions of the firm. Prior to NXT, Tyler was a 2nd Vice President at Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services (formerly Omnium, LLC) in Chicago where he worked in the Financial Control group, specializing in fund accounting for complex hedge funds.
Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife, Mallory, and their three children (a daughter and two sons). When the opportunity arises, he enjoys making trips down to Bloomington to cheer on his alma mater (Go Hoosiers!) and also enjoys daydreaming about improving his golf game.

Troy joined Centerfield in 2017. He leads deal origination and business development. Troy also assists with the evaluation of investment opportunities.
Troy has 20+ years of investment banking, financial advisory and debt capital markets experience. Prior to Centerfield, Troy was a Senior Vice President at Jefferies LLC, a Vice President at JPMorgan, and a Director at Bear Stearns. Troy has been the lead or senior banker on over $15 billion of debt financings, encompassing the full spectrum of credit structures across a variety of industry sectors.
On the home front, Troy has two young daughters who are in absolute control. When not kid wrangling, he loves chilling poolside in the summer, watching NFL games come fall (Go Colts!), and travelling to beach destinations. He can also be found dabbling late night in a round or two of Golden Tee, or virtual ping pong somewhere in the metaverse.

Tye has 17+ years of middle-market private equity, buyout and investment banking experience. Prior to Centerfield, Tye was an Associate at Cardinal Equity Partners, an Indianapolis-based private equity fund and multi-family office focused on control buyouts, where his responsibilities included deal evaluation and execution, portfolio management and origination. Earlier, he was an Analyst in the Cleveland office of National City’s Investment Banking Group focused on middle-market sell-side advisory.
While at home, Tye enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and keeping their shih tzu, Teddy, from bullying his big sister, Charlie the golden retriever. He is a big sports fan and an avid supporter of FC Barcelona and the Colts. In his free time he plays as much soccer as possible (he believes he still has the magic touch from his college playing days), golfs, and travels the world as much as possible with the goal of visiting a new country every year.

Augie joined Centerfield in 2017. His primary responsibilities include leading the evaluation, execution, and monitoring of investments for Centerfield Equity, the firm’s control strategy.
Augie has spent his entire career in middle-market private equity and investment banking. Prior to Centerfield, Augie was an Associate at Prospect Partners in Chicago, a lower middle-market private equity fund focused on leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations. At Prospect, Augie was actively involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment process. Earlier, he was an Analyst in the Chicago office of the Investment Banking Group at Stout where he worked on middle-market mergers and acquisitions.
Augie spends most days chasing his three kids (two daughters and a son) around the house and backyard. A jack of some trades and ace of none, he can be found in his spare time golfing, shooting hoops, snow/water skiing, or singing at church. As the 29th person in his family to attend Purdue, Augie will cheer for his Boilers to the grave. He is also an avid Colts, Pacers, and Cubs fan.

Adam has three young sons who keep him busy at home. He is a born and bred Hoosier thus loves cheering on IU sports, as well as the Colts, Pacers and Cubs. He is also an adjunct professor of finance at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. During his limited free time, Adam enjoys playing basketball and golf, as well as water sports, as he tries to convince himself that he is not washed-up.

Prior to Centerfield, Laura was a Strategic Relationship Manager with NEXT Studios, an Indianapolis-based venture studio. She served in a hybrid role supporting both investor relations and portfolio company operations.
Laura was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH, but chose to stay in Indianapolis after attending Butler University for her undergraduate education. She loves cheering on Butler basketball and is an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Laura also enjoys playing soccer and hiking new spots around the Midwest.

George enjoys playing pick-up basketball, golfing, or passionately watching sports with his brothers and friends. With his two parents, older brother, younger sister, and himself all attending Butler University, George has been a loyal Bulldog basketball fan since their 2007 Sweet 16 loss to the Gators.

Stephanie joined Centerfield in 2023. She is responsible for account reconciliations, billing, accounts payable, payroll, and assisting with compliance and accounting. Stephanie is a Certified Public Accountant in Indiana. Prior to Centerfield, she had several years of accounting experience, including roles in the LIHTC and restaurant support industries.
Away from the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and is a passionate supporter of her kids’ sporting events. Rumor has it her young boys may have a future with the Colts.

Andrea joined Centerfield in 2022. She manages general office activities, coordinates meetings and events, and supports marketing-related tasks. Andrea has 25 years of experience in operations, management, marketing, AR/AP, payroll, sales, human resources, and public relations. She also holds an active real estate license.
Prior to Centerfield, Andrea managed a professional race car team for 12 years, overseeing all aspects of the business. She also established a charity foundation and fundraises for cancer research (donating to the IU Simon Cancer Center). She has worked in multiple family businesses over 13 years with a focus on general management and office administration.
Away from the office, Andrea cheers on her youngest son in the boxing ring, watches her oldest son race go karts and midgets, enjoys choir events choreographed by her youngest daughter (IU grad), and travels south to visit her oldest daughter (Purdue grad). It is fair to say she lives in a house divided by college rivalry!
