Scott co-founded Centerfield in 1998. He is responsible for investor relations, overseeing due diligence, executing transactions, and portfolio management. Scott is a member of the Partnership’s Investment Committee.
Scott has 20+ years of private equity and banking experience, working with more than 300 middle market companies. Prior to co-founding Centerfield, Scott’s experience includes positions in corporate, international, and investment banking. He headed general corporate banking divisions having responsibility for numerous middle market corporate relationships. Scott also established and led the Capital Markets Group for NBD in Indiana. In this capacity, he and his team advised mergers and acquisitions, executed mezzanine debt and equity placements, and completed corporate bond and note placements.
Subsequently, at First Chicago Capital Markets, Scott served as First Vice President and Manager of Indiana Public Banking and had responsibility for healthcare, education, and government relationships.
Scott and his wife Denise have five adult children, all of which are entrepreneurs. Scott enjoys helping them grow their businesses and careers and is pleased that, at times, they even listen to his advice. He has six beautiful grandchildren who are being groomed as future private equity fund managers. Scott and Denise love traveling to Europe (it’s been awhile!), taking care of their horses, walking their big dog Gibbs, and “playing” golf in the mountains.

Faraz joined Centerfield in 2001. He is responsible for investor relations, overseeing due diligence, executing transactions, and portfolio management. Faraz also manages the general activities of the firm. Faraz is a member of the Partnership’s Investment Committee.
Faraz has 20+ years of experience in private equity. Prior to Centerfield, Faraz held sales and product development roles at Praxair and Rodel, where he was the lead researcher and developer of next generation consumables for the microelectronics industry and was awarded a patent. Faraz has been recognized as one of the “Forty under Forty” young leaders in Indianapolis, “Who’s Who in Finance” by the Indiana Business Journal and was the winner of Junior Achievement’s “Indy’s Best and Brightest” award.
In his spare time, Faraz enjoys traveling, laughing and hanging out with his wife and three kids. Faraz strives to engage in projects that help him grow as a person, and he is deeply rooted in community activities.

Michael joined Centerfield in 2007. He is responsible for investor relations, overseeing due diligence, executing transactions, and portfolio management. Michael also assists with managing general activities of the firm. Michael is a member of the Partnership’s Investment Committee.
Michael has 20+ years of experience in private equity and corporate finance. Prior to Centerfield, Michael spent eight years at Eli Lilly and Company in a variety of financial and business development roles. Most recently, Michael worked in Lilly’s Corporate Strategy and Business Development group where he was actively involved in the firm’s mergers and acquisitions efforts.
Michael holds an undergraduate degree in business administration from Hanover College and an MBA in general management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Indiana. Michael is actively involved in the community, including serving as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Economic Club of Indiana.
Outside of the office, Michael and his wife, Kristin, can be found shuttling their three sons from one sport to the next. When not on the run, Michael can be found in a basketball gym, coaching his sons and providing well-intentioned, but not always welcomed, guidance to referees.

Mark has spent his entire career working with middle market companies and business owners as an investor, lender, advisor, and board director. Prior to Centerfield, Mark began his career at National City Corporation, where he managed middle market corporate banking relationships, and gained experience in private banking and wealth management.
Mark is active in the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and is past President of ACG Indiana and a former Director of ACG Global. He also was the Co-Chairman of the ACG Great Lakes Capital Connection held in Indianapolis in 2018. Mark is currently active on the Indiana Board of JDRF and serves on the Executive Committee.
Mark and his wife have three daughters and a dog named Scout. When not shuttling kids around to sports and activities, Mark enjoys exercise, golf, and rooting for the Pacers and Colts (usually with Scout by his side). Mark also loves all things sci-fi and may be caught binge watching old Star Trek episodes.

Jill has 18 years of experience in private equity and business operations. Prior to Centerfield, Jill held various roles in manufacturing, process development, research, and operations in the medical device and energy industries. Jill was formerly a process engineer for ETEX Corporation, a medical device company in Cambridge, Massachusetts, now part of Zimmer. Jill previously worked as a business analyst at the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO) in Carmel, Indiana, and in operations at the MIT Nuclear Reactor. Jill has been recognized as one of the “Forty under Forty” young leaders in Indianapolis.
Jill and her husband, Mike, have two sons and a daughter. Their entire family enjoys beach volleyball, golf, and snowboarding, so most of their vacations involve a beach, a mountain, or a fairway.

Tyler joined Centerfield in 2021. He is responsible for accounting, audit, tax, treasury, portfolio valuation, and financial reporting activities of the firm, and serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer. Tyler also assists with investment monitoring and investor relations.
Tyler has spent his entire career in financial services. Prior to Centerfield, Tyler served as Vice President of Finance at NXT Capital in Chicago, a middle-market direct lender and asset manager. His responsibilities included financial reporting and FP&A functions of the firm. Prior to NXT, Tyler was a 2nd Vice President at Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services (formerly Omnium, LLC) in Chicago where he worked in the Financial Control group, specializing in fund accounting for complex hedge funds.
In his free time Tyler enjoys making trips to Bloomington to cheer on his alma mater (Go Hoosiers!) and enjoy the beautiful campus. He also loves supporting his 9 nieces and nephews in their many endeavors in South Bend, where his parents and sisters reside.

Troy joined Centerfield in 2017. He is responsible for deal origination, marketing, and business development. Troy also assists with the evaluation of investment opportunities.
Troy has 20+ years of investment banking, financial advisory and debt capital markets experience. Prior to Centerfield, Troy was a Financial Solutions Manager at Cisco Capital, a Senior Vice President at Jefferies LLC, a Vice President at JPMorgan and a Director at Bear Stearns. Troy has been the lead or senior banker on over $15 billion of debt financings, encompassing the full spectrum of credit structures across a variety of industry sectors.
On the home front, Troy has two young daughters who are in absolute control. When not kid wrangling, he loves grilling in the summer, the NFL season come fall (Go Colts!) and an occasional trip to the Caribbean. Unfortunately, it is a known fact that Troy watches more reality TV than any other Centerfield professional.

Tye has 15+ years of middle-market private equity and investment banking experience. Prior to Centerfield, Tye was an Associate at Cardinal Equity Partners, a private equity fund and multi-family office focused on control buyouts, where his primary responsibilities included deal evaluation and execution, portfolio management and deal origination. Prior to Cardinal he was an Analyst with National City’s Investment Banking Group, focusing on the execution of sell-side middle-market mergers and acquisitions.
While at home, Tye enjoys spending time with his lovely fiancé and keeping their golden retriever pup from eating the cat. He is a big sports fan and an avid supporter of the Colts and Barcelona. In his free time he plays soccer, golfs, and travels the world as much as possible with the goal of visiting a new country every year.

Augie has spent his entire career in middle-market private equity and investment banking. Prior to Centerfield, Augie was an Associate at Prospect Partners in Chicago, a lower middle-market private equity fund focused on leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations. At Prospect, Augie was actively involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment process. Earlier, he was an Analyst in the Chicago office of the Investment Banking Group at Stout where he worked on middle-market mergers and acquisitions.
Augie spends most days chasing his three kids (two daughters and a son) around the house and backyard. A jack of some trades and ace of none, he can be found in his spare time golfing, shooting hoops, snow/water skiing, or singing at church. As the 29th person in his family to attend Purdue, Augie will cheer for his Boilers to the grave. He is also an avid Colts, Pacers, and Cubs fan.

Prior to Centerfield, Justin was an Analyst with Eisen Fox & Company, where he focused on middle market mergers and acquisitions. Justin has evaluated and supported transactions in manufacturing, business services, clean technology, specialty chemicals, consumer products, and healthcare services.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys producing music, drumming, and playing the guitar. Justin and his wife have an American Staffordshire Terrier who smiles at every stranger. When he has to be quiet in the house, Justin regularly gives up on a fictional book within the first chapter in favor of something non-fiction.

Adam has 5+ years of private equity and valuation experience. Prior to Centerfield, Adam was an Analyst with Sterling Partners, a Chicago-based middle-market private equity firm. He served in a hybrid role supporting both the investor relations and portfolio reporting teams. Prior to Sterling Partners, he worked as an Associate for KPMG in the Economic & Valuation Services group.
Adam has two young sons who keep him busy at home. He is a born and bred Hoosier thus loves cheering on IU sports, as well as the Colts, Pacers and Cubs. Adam also enjoys playing basketball and golf, as well as water sports as he tries to convince himself that he is not washed-up.

Mary Beth joined Centerfield in 2004. She has more than 25 years of experience in office management, accounting, payroll, and human resources. Mary Beth manages Centerfield’s office and is responsible for account reconciliations, billing, accounts payable, payroll, and assisting with compliance and accounting. She also arranges and coordinates investor meetings, investor correspondence, and travel.
Prior to Centerfield, Mary Beth worked in the telecommunications and transportation industries for 15 years.
Away from the office, Mary Beth enjoys hanging out with her family and circle of friends. She always takes an annual “girls trip” with a close knit group of former high school and college friends. For the sake of preserving her sterling reputation at Centerfield, she consistently declines to provide specific trip details.
